I suspect that we had the last lightning storm of the season last night. This was taken at about 3 o'clock this morning. This is one bolt that seemed to be more like plasma. I only got one other really good shot, which I will put up later.

This desert flower only blooms at night after the temperatures get down below about 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The first ones I saw were a few weeks ago at about 3:30 in the morning.
